OpenAI’s sixth-generation frontier model for complex reasoning, coding, computer use, research, and document work; Astra is currently available through the API, ChatGPT Work, Codex, and GPT-6 Pro access on Pro, Business, and Enterprise.
As of 2026-09-22, GPT-6 Pro powered by Astra is available on ChatGPT Pro $100, Pro $200, Business, and Enterprise; Plus users can use Astra in ChatGPT Work and Codex. Enterprise/Edu access still depends on workspace permissions, and the official API catalog lists Astra, Sol, and Luna together. A separate Astra Ultrafast service tier became available in the Responses API on 2026-09-29.
